Challenge
Boeing's parts catalog returned hundreds of results — but compatibility, FAA approval, and aircraft configuration had to be verified separately, after search. Engineers were leaving the purchasing flow to cross-check information, then returning to complete the order.
Approach
Compatibility wasn't a post-search task. It was a search input. I redesigned the experience so engineers define their aircraft once, and every future search applies compatibility automatically.
